If it isn’t something too complicated that may deal with laws I advise you to save your money and do the work you will pay them to do. And if you have a business its best to learn about things yourself because if you are clueless about certain things a accountant or lawyer can wipe you out without you knowing.
Lawyers have their own unique persona’s and area’s of expertise. When hiring a lawyer, be sure he specializes in what you need the most. Secondly, his/her persona should be one that you can communicate with. They should explain all aspects and educate you with their advise.
With my business experience, I found it more advantagous to choose a lawyer that is owner operated, This is more personal treatment, more personal interest in your success. rather than a law firm with many partners.
You may need to switch lawyers and accountants in the beginning till you find that perfect fit. It is out there you will know when you find it. I went through about 8 CPA’s till I found my current one for the last 6 years
